Boosting the future of mobility
We met with several leaders and managers of the automotive sector in Barcelona at a breakfast-colloquium in collaboration with CIAC and CYP Ingeniería to discuss the future of the electric vehicle, the challenge of batteries and the current state of the sector in the midst of the digitalisation era. We had executives from SEAT, ACCIÓ, Silence, Eurecat and GEDIA, companies and organisations that are important in ecomobility, with whom we discussed the opportunities that await the future of the automotive sector.
Switching circuit: competition in the electricity market
The rapid evolution of the electric car market, especially in the Asian market, has meant that one of the objectives and challenges is precisely to make it more accessible. This is undoubtedly a way for consumers to better understand the product itself, the advantages of its use and the possibilities it offers. In addition, this type of vehicle is an ideal alternative to contribute to the reduction of noise pollution in cities.
However, users still have many doubts when it comes to buying a new vehicle. Even more so when they have to decide to opt for an electric vehicle. Doubts such as the lack of charging points or the question of batteries show that we do not have enough information about what is happening in that environment, something that demonstrates the importance of data communication.
It is therefore necessary to develop strategies that, on the one hand, make electric vehicles more affordable and, on the other hand, to be able to extend this electrification to the rest of the country.
Some of the conclusions that can be highlighted from the breakfast are the importance of public administrations in promoting electric vehicles. The industry itself has been carrying out the necessary processes for electrification, however, the help of public administrations is necessary to avoid a slowdown in sales, as the percentage in Spain stands at 12%, while in Europe it is already at 22%.
Electric revolution: the future of mobility
It is time to understand how digitalisation has burst into the world of electromobility as a fundamental factor for a successful electric transition. To this end, it is necessary to optimise processes through solutions such as efficient data management.
